Ha Jason, this is an intriguing topic for me! I discussed the role of connectivism as a learning theory in my mid-term project. But now its role seems less important. Whatever catogory it belongs to, it does imply something for us to improve our learning. Connectivism makes me think of the word "meta-cognition". Maybe I can call it "meta-knowledge". It suggests us of knowing how to develop our learning, how to manage our knowledge. Effecient way of knowing where to find knowledge instead of knowing what it exactly is, I have to admit!
